About Me

I created a Design and Architecture Portfolio to memorialize my four-year high school creative journey. The projects I designed, drafted, built, and rendered, represent my journey through formal and self-taught visual art exploration. A perfect blend of creativity, mathematics, and technology, Architecture became a class I looked forward to every day. A class that allowed me to utilize both my left and right brain. I look at these past four years as a channel to explore my creativity and love for technology. Regardless of what career I pursue, the abilities I garnered from this journey are invaluable.

From ideation to initial plans, revising to final product, I pour my heart and soul into learning new techniques, new concepts. Everything takes time. I am innately driven to find complexity in every project – to challenge myself. Assignments may have required simple pitched roofs or a single computer program, but I was drawn to intricate gable roofs and multiple softwares. Sanding is tedious but smooth surfaces to seal are so gratifying. Pocket-hole screws are time consuming but invisible fasteners look so pleasing. The projects require patience, hard-work, and discipline. My love for design spills over into everything I do, from designing my older brother's 300 square foot apartment so he could order the right size furniture to fit, to the Indesign details I include in my business plans and written entrepreneurship work.
